RENA ELLEN BRACEWELL, 82 of Seabrook, Texas passed away on Tuesday, May 10, 2005 at her home. Rena was born February 22, 1923 in Seabrook to the late William Clyde and Rena Belle Bracewell. Rena was a longtime active member of the Seabrook United Methodist Church. She was a retired Elementary school teacher, she taught for many years in several different districts, the 4th and 5th grade curriculum. She started her career in Eagle Pass, but also taught in Alaska, Baytown, Clear Creek and finally at Dickinson ISD. Rena was dearly loved by her students, who continue to stay in contact with her even after she retired. She is preceded in death by her parents, grandparents, and 2 brothers. Rena leaves behind to cherish her memory her brothers; Karl Bracewell, John Bracewell and his wife Mildred; sister-in-law, Hiromi Bracewell; her nephews, Kenneth Bracewell and William C. Bracewell III; her niece, Rena Skinner; her special friend and caregiver, Mary Ann Wesby and many other loving friends. The family will receive friends on Wednesday, May 12, 2005 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Jack Rowe Funeral Home, 1625 East Main Street, League City. Funeral services will be held on Thursday, May 12, 2005 at 1:00 PM in The Chapel of Jack Rowe Funeral Home, 1625 East Main Street. Interment will be Seabrook Cemetery.
